The Physician Configurator (PC) or Clinician Programmer (CP) is smart tablet touch-screen device available for the 8" Apple iPAD or the 10" SAMSUNG Android platform. All basic communication hardware and software interface modules are included to support communication, configuration and/or programming update of the patient Medical Implanted Embedded Controller (MIEC) via the base station. The tablet maintains the latest system self-test info that periodically updated in the background and supports secure encrypted communication link with the MIEC device. All incremental updates of the patient MIEC device's configuration and programmable parameters including the patient vital statistic that are stored on the local MIEC device's FLASH memory are available to the physician and/or clinician tablets for diagnostic and research accessibility. Data can be FTP or emailed to the remote medical data server for medical record archival and hospital references.
